Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
